Laura Marohnic

Yooper Produce is owned and operated by David & Laura Marohnic. We grow over 80 varieties of fruits and vegetables to support our CSA program. We grow about 50% of our produce in high tunnels to lengthen our growing season. We start all our own seedlings. We save seeds, use our own seedstock as much as possible, and we create most of our own fertilizers and compost on site. We also have 2.5 acres of blueberries that we are growing all organic, that we hope to open to the public for UPick in 2025.

We are MAEAP certified by the State of Michigan for Good Agriculture Practices in Crops, Farmsteading and Livestock 2023.
